What we show

  • Faster Diagnosis Standard (FDS): the share of patients given a cancer diagnosis or the all-clear within 28 days of referral (operational standard 75%)
  • 62-day standard: the share starting first treatment within 62 days of an urgent referral (standard 85%)
  • 31-day standard: the share starting treatment within 31 days of the decision to treat (standard 96%)

Caveats

  • Reported per trust — the same figures apply to every hospital the trust runs, always labelled 'Trust-wide'.
  • We show the all-cancers headline for each standard; performance varies widely by cancer type.
  • The 62- and 31-day figures apportion patients treated across several modalities, so counts can be fractional.
  • The most recent months are provisional and are revised when the final data is published.
